The 92nd Annual Meeting of the Marshall-Putnam Farm Bureau was held on November 14, 2011 at Capponi's Restaurant in Toluca.  Seventy-five members and guests attended. 

Directors elected to serve two-year terms were:  Bob Fecht - Bennington Township, Chuck Holz - Evans Township, Luke Holly - Granville Township, Nathan Webster - LaPrairie Township, Jim Shanklin - Roberts Township, Bill Campion - Saratoga Township, Jonathan Downey - Senachwine Township.

Following the meeting, Tom McMurren from the Illinois Agriculture Historic Preservation Society presented a lecture on our very rich local agriculture history in Marshall and Putnam counties.  He included facts about John Deere and Cyrus McCormick and many others who helped to revolutionize agriculture.
