A PSEP testing-only session will be held at the Marshall-Putnam Farm Bureau Building on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.  University of Illinois Extension – Bureau, LaSalle, Marshall, Putnam Unit is offering three testing-only sessions. Pre-registration is required.

No charge.

Self-Study Training via the Internet Training is also available.  The on-line training program for private pesticide applicators includes eight modules to be completed at your convenience.  It is a replacement for the self-study CD, and provides a training alternative for those unable to attend a Training & Testing clinic.  The training modules available through this program include: 1) Pesticides in the Environment; 2) Human Pesticide Protection; 3) Labels and Labeling; 4) Equipment & Calibration – part 1; 5) Equipment & Calibration – part 2; and 6) Pesticide Laws and Regulations.  There is a $15.00 fee to register and take the On-line course and users will have access to the training material for one year from the date of purchase.  This is for On-line training only.  The license examination is not offered via the internet and must be taken elsewhere.  The On-line Training link is www.pesticidesafety.illinois.edu

There are new Private Applicator Manuals this year.  The manual and workbook can be purchased online or at local Extension offices.
